Colm Howard-Lloyd

I am Colm, but you probably guessed that.

I started my career with KPMG and Accenture before escaping the world of calculators and consultancy to join the team setting up Purple Radio, which became the world's fastest growing radio station. I then began a career as a civil (mostly) servant, working for the NHS communicating the controversial Modernising Medical Careers reforms, and at the London Development Agency managing consultation with stakeholders on the Mayor of London's economic and renegeration programmes. I am currently self-employed providing communications advice, presentation skills training and speechwriting to clients as diverse as Grindr and their new app Blendr, London & Partners and variety of political and third sector clients.

I was a Trustee of Pride London for many years and saw the event grow to be the biggest outdoor event in the UK and one of the world's largest LGBT prides. I am currently a Trustee of The Food Chain who provide meals and nutritional advice to improve the health of people living with HIV in London. I am also an Independent Custody Visitor.

I am currently setting up YOVO a different kind of mobile network.
